Today was launched the report “The Status of Corporate Venture in Brazil”, developed by the Harvard Business School – HBS Alumni Angels of Brazil, in partnership with several institutions related to innovation in the country, including the Biominas Brasil. This report gathers information collected in workshops, interviews with innovation executives and questionnaires filled out by more than 100 companies. A full version of the report can be accessed here.

The report maps the ​​interaction between large companies and startups, pointing out their objectives, interests, models and difficulties (internal and external), bringing relevant subsidies to other companies interested in establishing corporate venture programs.

Without a doubt, this is a must-read material for all stakeholders of the innovation environment in the country

The discussion about Corporate Venture on Healthcare and Life Sciences will be addressed at the demoday of the program BioStartup Lab Interfarma, which will take place on August 3rd in São Paulo. In addition to the presentation of this report, there will also be discussion sessions with large companies of the sector.
