Based in Massachusetts (US), Ironwood is an entrepreneurial pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and intends to commercialize innovative human medicines. The company’s IPO was the largest of the biotechnology industry in the US in 2010. Biominas’ goal was to evaluate the Brazilian market attractiveness for Ironwood’s first product, linaclotide, design a regulatory pathway and required commercial investment for a market entry.
