POLISA is a research and development (R&D)  biotechnology company, with an emphasis on sugarcane biopolymers, focused on applications in human health.

They make the synthesis and controlled production of a polymer produced from sugarcane, with applications in several areas.

POLISA’s biopolymer product lines currently have two families of products in the healthcare area:

1. a) biofilms for clinical and surgical applications;
2. b) bio gel for clinical and dermatocosmiatric applications.
